Our Little England debut

In which we swear a little bit.

(I'll let you into a little secret - in take one I didn't say: "boy chickens".)

:-) But how did you keep a straight face in take two? (Or have I just watched take 22?!).

Nice stuff, though. Very feelgood. Nice piglets too ...

Can't remember - there was a lot of giggling going on. Fortunately, I've spent far too long quoting Python. You've got to love a bit of Python. (Although maybe you can't say that on a family show, either.)

Well you remind me of that standup guy TIM ? red hair and eyeliner. But there's a likeness. Interesting all of it, doing things in the uk not easy you would be hard pressed to get planning at all ! Note am still reading 2007. Archie H

thevoice - For someone claiming to be happy, I thought I looked pretty serious. Hugs & kisses back atcha and see you soon, hopefully...

Archie H - Don't know the TIM you mention but I'll try and find out. Standup must be terrifying. I thought I came up with a great first line, then found out it was almost exactly a Steven Wright line from a gig I saw on TV in the 80s. You're still in 2007, so I won't say anything...

Is it really u replying or does your site have some weird and wonderful app ? And are u in the yurt

I think we actually met in Streatham originally, a very long time ago. Yes it's me (apps were only invented after we left the UK) and yes, I'm in the yurt. Bizarrely warm here for mid November...

I watched this last night and wondered about the "boy chickens" comment. I thought it was because you'd been around children for so long ;-)

Bon continuation!

I can't see this in your list, worth checking out.

Thanks POW - we've certainly come across hardworkinghippy in a few places - I'll enjoy checking out her blog (which hasn't been updated recently - hope everything's OK).

Your blog send shivers up my spine and I'll certainly be reading your story, too. My grandfather joined the army in the year you were born and spent time in the trenches, which he somehow survived. I very nearly joined after school, but my life was saved by a guy called Rick who asked me: "Why?"

Hi, thanks for your reply. Pleased you've come across Irene (HWH) nice lady.

I am Kathy, POW's daughter. Dad died in March this year, 4 days short of 95. I am doing the blog to eventually publish to go with his book Sojourn in Silesia.

a bientot. (damn, I can only hear Geoffrey Palmer now when i say that!)
