I left you with some joists and noggins. All that needed doing next was laying the floor. Which seemed to go OK...
Before putting the frame on (with the help of some redundant former work colleagues)...
And the cover on the frame...
Which looked a little tight at the bottom thanks to the marine-ply drip edge.
Tune in next time to see if I took the whole thing down and trimmed 1 cm off the platform all the way round - by hand.
(Is there any other way?)

Heavens above! It looks almost real! You can almost hear the guests ahhing in appreciation . . .
Talking of which, you nearly had me on your doorstep the other day. I got as far as checking flight times and starting a text message the other day before realising I've got two different mobile phone numbers for you and didn't know which was the right one. So I went to bed for 3 days and when I got up again, the desire to run away had abated. . . slightly.
Any number starting with an 06 is good for us. I have a French mobile now, too, which you might have. Still no toilets, but the sewerage people have indicated that they're cool with the composting idea. Which is another big huzzah.
It's gathering a momentum all of its own. Finally.
can you please come and build us a shed at the allotment? Ta.
